Well this is probably the height of my signed photo collecting. A very good friend of mine who is passing on his collection saved his most loved photo for me, he had a writing relationship with Walter Reder for almost ten years until he was released from his Italian prison. During the first year of his parol in 1986 he met him at a veterans reunion, as a gift for their decade long correspondence he was given a signed Paul Hausser that Reder has been given almost 20 years prior by Hausser during his prison time.
This is what collecting is about, paying it forward and passing on the history behind these photos.
Morris
Congratulations, Morris! This is quite the find!
Wicha Thitawat (also known as Vicha Dhitavat). Thai volunteer in the Wehrmacht, a Hauptmann in the Signal Corps and apparently attached to a Panzer division.
Later rose to a colonel in the Royal Thai Army, and wrote a book detailing his years in the Wehrmacht. (Book: คนไทยในกองทัพนาซี - Thai in the Nazi Army)

Erich Bärenfänger commanded several defense sectors during the Battle of Berlin in 1945. He committed suicide with his wife and her brother on May 2, 1945.
Edit: Sorry for the faint signature. That is not my scanner; the signature has faded a little over the years.
Edit 2: Fun fact - there is a Heinrich Hoffman stamp on the back of the photo. I haven't seen such a stamp on these photos before and I thought it was interesting.
