If he held that title, he must have been the head/owner or at least a very senior manager/board member of a business enterprise that was deemed important for the national defense or war economy.

Some 400 or so persons were appointed as WeWiFü (or at least the Wikipedia article says so, which also lists several dozen examples). Sorry, no idea whether a full list is available somewhere.

Can you tell us his name?

    Default Carl Muller

    Thanks.
I added more images, seems his name was Carl (Karl) Muller.
He also got a GRATIS visa for Sweden, something official maybe?
    Well used and well traveled.

Would be very interesting to learn more about him.

The passport doesn't give many clues... His occupation is given as "Direktor" / "Wehrwirtschaftsführer". He was born in Pinnow and lived in Berlin.

One possibility: There was a Berlin-based rubber goods factory, the Carl Müller AG which was founded by Carl Müller in 1875 and existed until 1994. The first name was often passed on from father to son, Berlin is a match and rubber goods definitely fit the Wehrwirtschaft segment. The Carl Müller AG employed forced laborers during the war.

With some luck, it might just be the company we're looking for. However, Müller is one of the most common German names, so this is pure speculation.

[For illustration on how common the surname is... There were at least three other Wehrwirtschaftsführer named Müller:
Erich Müller (Krupp), Fritz Müller (Krupp) Johannes Müller (Junkers) and Karl Christian Müller (Daimler Benz).]

    Tnx!
That would be grt if this was the case; how can we verify it or not?

    Default Dienstpass...

Another Q...can one trace a government official that was stationed in Bucharest during the war? Name was Max Roy (don't believe he was part of the foreign ministry), unless it was not his real name...
