    Yet more stuff from yesterday,

The post cards are first war except the Voglesang card which may have memories for serving or ex forces. A bloody good range package there!

The HE 111 with the RK winner is quite cool but I'd run low on cash and the bloke sold me it out of an album for an old policeman, he is in the other picture and to the right of the pilot. The reverse reads 'with the HE111 and Nights cross winner Heiner on the 10/8/43 flown back to Orsha (Russia- Luitte? Lithuania?) left is the observer'. If he is there next time I will try for the rest but this was the best photo.

Then a few photo albums not much in them but cheep and chearful.

The books are quite interesting including info about allies Finnland and the Pics are good about Kreta, all books are of the period.

    Regards

    Phil,

I've never been clever so German is hard work even after all this time. Add to that you have to understand the grammer and that I can't speak English that well being a Jock. You just know I'm on a hiding! Then add their crappy handwriting and it might as well be inigma sometimes.

    Still keeps me busy.

    Regards

    Guys,

I've run out of Google on the Knight Cross recipient. Engelbert Heiner award 9/12/42 is the best I can do. Can anyone help?

    Regards

    Paul,

Thanks for that info, so he didn't make it through the war!

    Thanks again.
