I got this one back in 1996, and didn't pay much for it thankfully. The dealer often went to Germany so I suppose he may have 'intercepted' the westward travel of this fake doc. paper etc. before the majority reached the UK. Gosh, fakes make stories by themselves, quite aside from the genuine pieces! Argh!
I will try to re-contact the chap concerned (as he is still in business and I have the paperwork). He seemed generally very good (I've had a few medals verified, which are his specialist area, so he may have been caught out?? Or is that optimistic?)
