Mark what is the source of the photo ?
The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Mark having reviewed some more signatures this one looks like it could be a good one from Hausser. As for a wartime photo it is difficult to tell from this one , the rear of the photo needs to be looked at !!

Attached for comparing is postwar, inscribed in 1970. Birthday gift to me from the Treasurer of Truppenkameradschaft "Der Führer" at a Treffen in the early 1980s.
In the final year of his life (over 90) Hausser's writing faltered but generally never changed as is the case with most adults unless stroke or other disability. Photos he signed postwar, normally image shown, he added the details shown on reverse, those lacking it I'd rather avoid. Tried to scan my framed letters he wrote to others but in glass lack clarity.

and wartime sample, KC Vor, I cropped to enlarge signature.
I should have period and/or postwar examples of most KC holders if needed. But only do the web during brief breaks.
If you ever need help with others, PM me and if (I assume) it sends a notice to my e-mail will post if have anything.

One of the 2 officers I wish I could have met but was not old enough (other being Georg Keppler)
