No. The rank is an army rank, the Feldpost Number is an army unit (Inf.Rgt 21) and the name is spelt differently with your man's name having a double r.

Assumed just that the rank Schutz would be connected to an SS rank...

Both the Heer and the Waffen-SS used the term Schütze. In the Wehrmacht Heer it was discontinued in 1942 and was replaced by Grenadier. I don't know if it was also discontinued in the WSS, but i did own a M42 helmet from the WSS that was found in Normandy in August 1944 and that bears the rank SS Schütze and a name...
