Sticker Hauptmann und staffelkapitän

I have this book for a certain time now and never gave any attention on the sticker it has inside. I knew it was there but never looked it up. It also has some kind of signature.

It says:

Kriegsweihnacht 1943
16.FL.VERB.GESCHW.2
Hauptm.u.staffelkapitain (the 'i' is maybe a writing mistake?')

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify who the 'hauptmann und staffelkapitan' is. And also some more info about this unit would be very appreciated.

There isn't much to know as he didn't win any awards of note.
Oct 1942 to Oct 1943 - Staffelführer Kurierstaffel d.Luftwaffekommando Südost and then Staffelkapitän 34./Fl.Verb.Geschwader 2 until June 1944 when he was assigned as Staffelkapitän of 16./Fl.Verb.Geschwader 2 for the rest of the war.
