Very intense looking young guy, great photo Glenn!...
It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

I'm Spartacus, not really i'm Paul!...

Here is one from my collection. Group shot of members of the Totenkopf division . This is early on as you can see their shoulder boards were the of the angled variety. There is a cockiness in their expression or lack of. It makes me uneasy.

Not a SS collector per se, but I have a couple
of cap buttons/badges like the one in the
photo, and I appreciate seeing pics
    of them in wear.........

Interesting on how the collar piping appears to have worn in Glenn's pic.

Thanks for the great images guys.

    Cheers, Ade.

Interesting photo, thank you. I'm interested in how one distinguishes between SS soldiers assigned to front line duties in the Totenkopf Division and those serving as camp guards? I noticed that these men are all of quite mature years and so wondered if they might be the latter? However, I'd imagine that the original members of the TK Division had a somewhat higher average age anyway, as they were raised out of those men who had been camp guards before the war.

    Regards, Philip
