It says the same as the entry on the bottom of the facing page : included in the surrender (Kapitulation) of Armee-Oberkommando Ostpreußen of 8 May 1945. Funny, though, the Russian text says "запад."/"zapad."/"west-" instead of East Prussian.
This unit appears to have ended the war in Gdańsk/Danzig/Гданьск.

Thanks for your help, that is a little weird about the east-west mix-up dont you think?

Well, the German guy said "Ost", which sounds not much like "Vest". So, a mistake. Or maybe not ....
The guy (gal?) doing the translation may have been Russian or Polish or not military, and figured "Army High Command of Eastern Prussia" would not be too likley to be believed by Russians in the Gdańsk/Danzig/Гданьск area, and so "moved" the responsible Army High Command over the Vistula river to "West".
The same Major signed in both places, which I think is neat (since he likely could not read the Russian language part). I have been in that position myself, and it always feels strange to sign what you cannot read.
    :-)

Basically, all I am worried about is the entry being authentic. I'm okay with mistakes as long as it is authentic.
