Were German ration stamps pasted onto the ration cards?

Hello all! I'm a little confused. I see ration stamps for sale on sites like eBay, but I've never seen a ration card with them afixed. Was a person issued the ration card, then the stamps and then put them onto the card prior to making a purchase? Any idea where I might find some cards? Thanks! Don Liller

I'm surprised that you haven't been helped yet!
As you can see, the rationed goods/amounts are listed on the card, and had to be cut out by the merchant when they were redeemed.
The stamps that you see on E-Bay etc. aren't ration-stamps, they are usually membership-dues stamps that were intended to be pasted into membership-booklets...
