Hello I'm thinking it's in reference to this.
An interesting piece of history, seeing as how Germany paid off their war debt not that long ago if memory serves me?
Best regards.

Thank you Brian.
The Referendum huh? I know nothing of it. Guess I'll be doing some Googling and reading on this tonight.
Can you (or anyone reading this) translate this to English?
Thanks for the thanks Darin. I wish I could translate the pamphlet to English but I'm no where near proficient to do so. I was hoping Andreas HPL would come across this thread for a precise translation, and or Wim? German is their native language and each are WELL versed in English both of them a huge credit to the forum. It may be worth a PM to one of them if they are willing to help. Sorry. Kindest regards.

Brian has already identified it. It says "Stop! / Think about the tribute plan! Save yourselves through the referendum / The lists are out for signing from 16 to 29 October 1929"
Thank you for the translation HPL. That was more useful than you know.
I'm making a serious attempt to catalogue my collection.
Not just for my own personal knowledge, but for my son when the time comes for him to take possession of my things.
He doesn't collect, but he loves history.
This will probably help insure that everything doesn't end up at a pawn shop after I'm gone.
Thank you everyone for your help when I ask a question.
Do I use Google for research? Sure i do.
But there is more period based information in this one group than pages and pages of Google searches.
And I know I can believe what i read.
The discussions are civil and intelligent.
I like that.
