122 Plutony Zandarmeria, 122 military police unit
Hi There,
My Grandfather according to his army records was part of this unit from the 24/8/1939 until 19/9/1939. On the internet i can find very little about his unit apart from it being a reserve unit. Therefore I ask if anybody could give me any info about it, what division/ army it was part of, and what happened to it up to the end of the sept campaign.
I ask because I am trying to put together a history of his army service from August 1939 through to 1946 via Poland, Greece, France, Scotland, France, Germany etc.
Many thanks in advance,
Colin

About 27pp - here is the link in Polish: 27 Pu

Hi Seb,
Thanks for your info. I will use it to try to put some meat on the bone as to if the unit was formed up at the start of the war and to try and see if he got to it before it would have been over run,
Cheers,
Colin
