Old copy
How old? 1970s, 1980s?
Best Regards
Bartek
Hi Darek, Simon might have an answer, but for the most part It’s anyone’s guess. Copies of varying quality were produced by different makers since shortly after WW2, both in and outside Poland. In most cases neither the production date nor the maker remain known.

Bartek, not Darek
So is it possible, that this one was made by a jeweller for a soldier who lost a badge?
Best Regards
Bartek
Bartek, my apologies. To answer your question, yes, some veterans who lost regimental badges did on occasions seek to obtain replacements from jewelers. As to whether this badge was one will likely never be known.
