identifying belt buckle

Have brass belt buckle & belt that appears to be Polish that came from holland/belgium. It appears to be the Polish eagle with a cross on it's breast. The crown is 5 point & above the head, not on it. The wing feathers curve up more like the Imperial Russian eagle. It is stamped & obviously military. Has a number of faded names inside the belt. Off & on, I have tried to identify it for yrs.. I would truly appreciate it if somebody could identify it for me

I strongly suspect this may be Spanish? Have a look here and report back.

As Ade said I suspect this is a Spanish belt buckle from the description.

Hi fauxpasunltd. A photo would be helpful. But if the eagle appears like the one in Ade's link - or like the one posted below, then it's definitely Spanish. These are occasionally misidentified as being Polish.
