Article about: Hi, I picked up this heavily retouched and colored photo from a thrift store. Can anybody id his unit and possibly time frame it was taken. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks !

    Looking for following WWII German items:
    - anything dealing with Allenstein (Olsztyn) and Wehrkreis I in East Prussia,
    - entrenching tool carrier (straight and folding),
    - forestry and hunting items,

    The photograph is of a Ulan from the 2nd General J Dwernicki's Grochowski Lancers Regiment, with the National Sports Badge, dates this photograph to some time in the 1930's

    Need to find a nice frame for it.

    Wish I got that lucky here in Canada!

    The photo was taken in 1935-1939, hes wearing a wz.35 Rogatywka.
