Krakow1, Congratulations on adding a desirable document on several levels. This young doctor and officer was awarded the badge of the 19th Artillery Regiment just three weeks before the outbreak of war. An accomplished young man who would otherwise have had a promising future if not for the madmen in power on either side of his nation. Just 28 years old when his life was snuffed out by an NKVD bullet in the back of the head. Such a tragic waste.

The badge of the 19PAL, one of the many beautiful pre-WW2 artillery badges:

Here is a document that I Have not seen before. It is for : Honor Badge for being in the Combat zone. It was awarded for combat service in Legions and Polish Army.

It was a stripe that would be sewn on Uniform sleeve. One stripe for 6 months of Combat duty. This document is for Lt Zielinski murdered in Charkow, and it was for FIVE stripes, 30 months of Combat duty, at the Front. Also I have a Certificate for Lt Zielinski for finishing the Cadet Infantry School. Also he was a KW winner x 4.
