This is for Post #127. Colonel Wir-Konas. When I wrote the previous posts the following militaria were not in my possession, I brought both of these from Poland last summer. The saber was obtained from Family years ago and it is just like it was left 79 years later.

Here is a Diploma given to Colonel Wir-Konas for Honorary Badge of the 1st Regiment Podhalanian Rifles.

I was a sight to see carrying the saber packed in a plastic tube through the Krakow Airport at 4 a.m.

Re Podporucznik rez. Tadeusz Borzuchowski, Born 25th March 1904, son of Albin and Aniela, 1934 Reserve Officers Yearbook list him on pages 83, 560. Ppor 2244th in seniority from 1st January 1932, serving with 81PP living in Grodno.

This belongs with Post #45, 46,47. This a copy of Daily Order #195 for 3 Ulan Regiment. It says that Lt Szczesniak Waclaw is transfered to the Staff of the 5th Cavalry Brigade. Signed by Col Zelislawski from 3 PU. who also got murdered at Katyn.
