It is great to find this forum! I have several items from my granddad who was on Eastern front.
One of the items is this badge. I plowed through entire google trying to figure out the origin and the meaning of it.

And welcome to the forum, to answer your question the badge is the 5 Batalion Telegraficzny based in Krakow, it would be nice if you could post a photograph of the reverse side of the badge.
