Naval Rifle Regiments

Well one of my favorite Polish units in '39 was the 3 naval rifle reg's which were attached to the Army group Pomoze.

The equipment was mostly same as infantry's but sometimes the units used the standard naval uniforms e.g. 2nd naval rifle reg.

Hello Denxson,

One of the more difficult units to find photographs of.

Judging from the gaunt appearance of Pilsudski, probably taken in about 1934 as he was weakening from his stomach cancer.

Never been a three battalion of seamen in 1939! , only Battalion seamen/marinners [recruited from the staff of the fleet] -commander kmd. Horyd
