I have posted my grandfather pictures before, but I know they belong in picture threat. My grandfather served in 52 Pułk Piechoty Strzelców Kresowych (52 pp), i will also post picture of the badge 52 pp. If any one has that badge can you post it in Pre-war Badge thread?
Here is one more picture I have found in my family foot albums that I have with me in Canada, I hope I will find more pictures in our family albums that my parents have back in Poland. Can you tell me more about the picture?

This is a picture of 1 of Poland colonial troops,I have more saved and Ill try posting them soon.I wonder what happend to him?The photo descricption say it was taken in 1939!

The soldier in the photo is a member of the KOP which defended Poland`s border on the east as bands of Soviets kept on trying to get into Poland through out 1921-1939. It was formed after a band of Soviets took over a village because the police thought the army was suppose to be there and the army thought the police was suppose to be there. He is wearing a wz.36 uniform and a wz.36 (I think) rounded hat that was used by the KOP and Calvary. I think he might of served in the 1939 Campaign.
Im guessing one badge is KOP and what is the second one? His last name is Apieczonko, I would have to ask my father what happened to him and if maybe they have more pictures?
Your right about the KOP badge but im not sure what the other badge is??
