Polish inspection marking?

Gentlemen,
I'm guessing this is the appropriate forum for this question. Is the sun/star marking in the attached picture a Polish inspection marking? It is on the rifle in this thread:
Imperial German/Polish/Nazi Germany Gewehr 98 depot rebuild

I've seen this same marking on some other receivers of Polish rifles, and am assuming it's from a Polish depot/arsenal.

hello i've seen this mark on several polish radom bayonets,so maybe this is the sign(inter alia) that they are math to each other.
maybe this symbol have some other importance.
