There brass examples are nice, but what is the difference between the designs? Is a date or producer thing?

    Hey again,
Yup its a maker type thing, I also hate to say but I suspect that the badge on the left is a cast copy.

But the one on the right is a nice example

It figures. The nice one on the right I recently got for $15! I am sure I paid more than that for the left one.

These both have the anchor and letters "SF" (+ BM for Bialy Metal). What is the name of this manufacturer?
Warsaw based firm of Skarnik and Fiszbein.

    Hello Rich,

Yes, that is a model 1919 eagle, so its in the right forum. Wed need a better close up look at the front and back to add any further comments about authenticity, etc. Thanks for your post.

    Regards,
    Tony
