    There brass examples are nice, but what is the difference between the designs? Is a date or producer thing?

    Yup its a maker type thing, I also hate to say but I suspect that the badge on the left is a cast copy.

    But the one on the right is a nice example

    Yes, that is a model 1919 eagle, so it’s in the right forum. We’d need a better close up look at the front and back to add any further comments about authenticity, etc. Thanks for your post.
