    Default Polish Pre-39 Cap Eagle

Not sure about this one, so I decided to post it for further inspection.

.. Pre-39 Cap Eagle ... White metal plate .. die stamped .. BUT with 2 soldered brass pin loops that have at sometime been flattened !

I'm posting because I have never seen the two brass pin loops on one of these badges !!!
    .. Is it good ... OR .... BAD ??

    Cheers

Gary, that's a genuine pre-war orzelek. It's the distinctive variant made the Bronislaw Grabski factory in Lodz. Nice bird. Could see $100+ in today’s market. The dies from these survived and were used by the wartime resistance. These badges can be identified by their lower quality metal composition and a die break mark.

    T.

The subject of Polish eagles is very intresting from far they all look the same but from up close you can see how there different each marker made there own version.
My favorite version is made by Jan Knedler
