Polish Sabre WZ. 17 with eagle :-)

Hello

I will show you my new buy . It is polish Infantry "Szabla wz. 17" .

Very interesting the blade and sheath is german from "Infanterie Offizier Degen 89" before 1918 .

The sheath was overpainted bevor 30 years .

When you have more information about this Sabre I would be very happy .

I found in Internet not much information about the sabre . And only in polish language (I understand it) .

The sabre was designed in winter 1915/1916 on the eastfront .
