Article about: I have been sent this pic by a friend of mine: tha tank is definitively a Renault FT 7, but could you confirm the tankers are polish? The crash helment does not look like the usual modified

    I have been sent this pic by a friend of mine: tha tank is definitively a Renault FT 7, but could you confirm the tankers are polish? The crash helment does not look like the usual modified Adrian, as a matter of fact! Thank you in advance for your help, gents!

    The white and red flag on the Tank is Polish.

    Not necessarily: could be a Cavalry pennant

    Well, have you noticed the cross shaped padded crest? Any other evidences of this patter of AT crash helmet in Polish use?

    I think the side knife in the pictures is French Avenger knife. The long scabbard attachment would allow the knife to be twisted like it is in the picture.

    Thank you for the additional information: as a matter of fact it did not look as a Polish combat knife: just wondering wether the Polish Army was supplied by the French with combat kifves as well, or if this was a private purchase by this tank crew.
