Hello again CQE, and thanks for sharing more items. Re the Odznaka Legionu Pulawskiego, the second version was made by Jozef Michrowski and is different from yours. So this would then be a third version, although I am not aware that one officially existed.

Tony, thank you. You are right but...2nd version was NOT officially approved by Ministerstwo Spraw Wojskowych. MY badge might be just a different variation of that 2nd version produced by unknown (so far) maker.

Attaching another photo under natural lighting.
    Best regards,

    Hi Jurek,

You are correct that this was not recognized as an official national decoration, much like the Bulak-Balachowicz cross. The little I know about this beautiful decoration is for the most part gleaned from the Oberleitner reference. He does not mention a third version, and I can’t help but doubt there was one made pre-WW2. Keep in mind that relatively few of these needed to be produced for veterans, hence their rarity. This unfortunately points to your example as a post war copy. My purpose in posting the side by side comparison was to highlight the significant differences in quality between the genuine item and a reproduction.

    Regards,
    Tony

Hi Igor, There were several producers of the 4PAC badge, among them Grabski, Bobkowicz, Michrowski, and this one has characteristics that differ from the products of these makers. On a more subjective note it has the overall appearance of a copy.

    Tony
