along with some mundane British cap badges, this. In Bron i Barwa, all illustrations black and white, Badge 116, 1 Brigade of the Polish Legions. I know bugger all about this period so no idea if it is any good.
New addition. 13 "Kresowy" Field Artillery badge
Hi All
Zdzisław Sawicki begun to publish a new serie of his books refering to Polish regimental badges until 1939. The new edition is basing on publications written together with Adam Wielechowski, issued ten years ago - but are revised and vitally extended. Beacuse of them, the serie is divided in 6 volumes: infantry, calvary, atrillery & armoured troops, technical & service troops, military badges of 1914-1921 and military schools.
First book "Odznaki Wojska Polskiego 1921-1939. Piechota" (Infantry) was published a few weeks ago, second (Kawaleria) is in preparation. Volume "Piechota" contains 224 pages (harbound), with full color illustrations, text in Polish only. There are much more variants of many badges described, as in the book of 2007, documents (Legitymacja) are shown togther.
On pictures you can see cover, list of volumes and two sample pages. In Poland the book costs 70-85 zł, weight ca. 0,6 kg.
greetings
Tomasz

Hello Everyone,
In 1986 in his book on Polish Awards and Badges on page 257 Professor Wesolowski refers to the following as the Kiev Bridge Badge in reality "Przyczołek Kijow" translates as "The Kiev Bridgehead".
The Kiev Bridgehead Badge reverse Numbered : 381
The Kiev Bridgehead Badge Legit Nr : 595
A badge seldom seen on the market, although there are a lot of copies
