Is this Polish officer's Document Case 100% pre-war, please ?

Is it Type A or B, please ?

from the outside it looks like a type b. However, I have not seen the inner flap before and the ones that I have (and have seen) have a small holder on the inside for a small compass. I am not sure if there are other variations of the type b. Others on the forum may know otherwise.
