Hello Didler, i have no idea of the nature of this pin but the stylized Hakenkreuz with the short arms is reminiscent of the symbol seen on many badges from Finland.

    Good luck, Al

That's a better guess Gunny, the Fin swastika rotates in the opposite direction

Poland also used a backwards swastika, symbol.
The colour and shape of the pin match the collar patches used by Cavalry Squadrons of the Frontier Defence Corps

    Hello Bichon,

It could be connected to either of the following Artillery Regiments.

    1) 1 Pułk Artylerii Górskie

    2) 21 Pułk Artylerii Lekkiej

    3) 11 Karpacki Pułk Artylerii Lekkiej

    4) 1 Pułk Artylerii Motorowej

    Just an idea

    Best wishes

    Andrzej

    Hi Bichon,

This is actually a pin associated with the Polish Armed Forces in the West, and specifically #4 on Andrzekju’s list, the 1st Motorized Artillery Regiment (1 Pułk Artylerii Motorowej) of the 1st Polish Armoured Division. I suspect it to be a sweetheart pin, or something produced post war for veterans. Either way, a nice piece.

    Regards,
    Tony
