    Chris.........
These are colors of the infantry ... and stripes were worn on the collar of greatcoats in garrison uniform set (same as collar patches in tunic).
Beautiful picture, do You know the unit ? This style of wearing an eagle on cap is really rare ... i notice it just few times.

Hey Pat thanks for the comments, what colors might they be?

The picture is of my great uncle in the Kompanie Telegraficzne of 11 Karpacka Dywizja Piechoty.

    Hi Chris,

For infantry it would be yellow and blue, as visible in the example below.

    Thanks Tony

I assume yellow/blue is standard for all infantry of that period? Would his coat also be the same color of the jacket in your picture?

    Most welcome Chris,

Yes, those are standard infantry colours. The grey/blue tunic pictured formed part of a Haller vets set. The one your great uncle was wearing would have been the pre-war shade of Polish khaki green.

    Tony

Sunflower yellow + blue are typical infantry colors. Here is better example on the pic.
