    Fantasy item????

Seems to have a WW1 "strosstrup" skull! Crossed swords to signify combatant, on a stylized iron cross......

The proprietor of the store claims it to be authentic WW1 era. But maybe he was duped as well as I.

It's hard to resist sometimes when your actually in the shop with the item in hand, especially in Germany, and you have to make a choice on the spot....again hope you didn't pay much, but it is a nice looking badge!!!

$100 is a lot of money wasted on something you have no idea about.
Better to get some books on TR insignia/regalia than to blindly
buy something just because there is a skull on it.........

What does the screw-back attachment look like ?
    Regards,

    Steve.
