in France, this insignia is a great mystery
I have some answers:
not british, not belgian, not spanish, probably not US
some says not french at all ??
someone says possibly polish ?
what do you think about it ?

Hi again Didier,

Not Polish insofar as a military connection, although such ‘bird caricatures’ were used by several squadrons on their badges.

The rear fastening reminds me of what I have seen on French and possibly even Belgian badges. Sorry again for not being able to help.

I saw one of these at a gun show recently. They wanted $20 USD but they had no ideat it was.
