click to enlarge all the photographs when you do you will find the reverse of the original Numbered Cross was 4648 the number 6 being over stamped with the number 7.

Hi Igor, yes, Palestinian origin, maker Rubinowicz. Although it's been suggested that Minassian of Cairo might be the producer. The example you have posted is unusual is several respects. The center disc should be gold coloured, the laurel wreath green enameled, and the eagle (in a fragile) white enamel. This eagle appears painted. Also, the intermediate suspension ring was not brass.
