Fake Alert: another on of these fake Krupski i Matulewicz government issue crosses has surfaced on the market. The seller is crafty, listing them sparingly. The cross finish is age distressed and is suspended from a soiled modern ribbon. These fakes are quite well made and can easily fool an unwary collector. Thus far this auction has seen sixteen bidders, with the price climbing up over 3000PLN. Someone is going to make a costly mistake.

On the back of the Document there is a record of the General collecting 300 Polish zloty per Year. He died in May, 1933 and the last entry is for January 1933. First time I am seeing that.

Congratulation Tomasz. Nice way to close out 2017. Very few collectors can boast of owning a VM award document issued to a general, or anything that once belonged to a to a pre-WW2 Polish general for that matter, so you are one lucky dude. Thanks for sharing this exceptional piece with us.

    Cheers,
    Tony
