Hi Jojo, it's a pre-WW2 Polish Military Police badge. The badge was worn as shown below. Also a picture showing the reverse.

Do you think such badges are collectible? I find the badge really interesting. it's a nice piece.
I'm not sure what kind of material it's made from? To me it looks like some kind of silver plated tombak? (I'm really not sure)

First time I've seen or heard of one so yes, I would say collectible. Other opinions may differ.
Yes, definitely collectible. Which is probably why you bought it, right? This is not a common badge. It’s nice to see that yours is complete with its original chain and connector.
The badge is made from Alpacca, sometimes called Nickel Silver, or simply White Metal which is an alloy consisting of nickel, copper and zinc. The connector at the end of the chain is plated brass. The "Ż" in the center is brass.

I just think I payed to much for it:200 euro.
But it's a nice piece after all.
