    Default 2nd Corps Helmet eagles

    Hi Guys

I have been trying to find out what was the more common type of helmet eagle worn in 2nd Corps in particular the 3rd Carpathian Division. From original photos around the Battle for Monte Cassino I can see that most Polish soldiers did not have a eagle on their helmet, however a very small amount did. What kind of eagle would it be? Just a white eagle painted on the helmet or a eagle painted/stenciled in yellow paint?

    Hope someone can help.

    Nick

I think they were white and ended up fading to yellow.
