I was wondering if the Poles were issued watches in the RAF when they joined up? and if so what brand was it? I have a picture of my Uncle and he is wearing a watch but I cant make what kind it is.

Most major watch manufacturers made military timepieces.
Pocket watches I've seen for the Brits and Canucks are marked
'GST' on the back for: General Service Timepiece.
Hard to say with a wrist watch as it could very well be privately
purchased, unless it has a 'broad arrow' mark on the face.

.. Not the standard engraving ....... on a military item ...
.. As for the timepieces ... the RAF types do seem to command quite high prices !
