    Default Airborne-style Badge

    I'm not exactly sure what era this one is, but I haven't seen this construction before. Eagle badge appears to be struck in solid brass and coated in black with a pin/catch attached. The pin is broken away but the catch remains (this style of pin reminds me of British-made US DUIs that I've seen). I also realize the WWII airborne eagle design has been used after WWII. Hopefully someone can help me identify period and manufacture of this one!

    Never seen this particular type of Polish para wing before. Wasn't there a connection between former Polish paras and the Green Berets and maybe this badge had something to do with that to explain the US style pin you mention? As I said an oddity not seen before.

    I think it's just a copy of Polish WW II para wing ...
