Anyone have a relative in Polish Resettlement Corps join the British Army in 1947/48?

Thanks for that Stefan. My uncle was transferred in and out of 6 Panc and 206 BU (Basic Unit) on 29.3.47 & 30.3.47 then a 3 month stint at 68 PTC from 20.3.47 to 2.7.47. There were about 200 Poles at 68 PTC Brancepeth whom I believe were undergoing trades testing unrelated to armor. I think my uncle was part of the PRC section administration facilitating testing and paper work etc with their British counterparts for Poles applying to various trades within the British Army.

Attached are questions asked of an applicant applying to the armored branch, this was not a written test. Through two interviewing officers, one Polish and one British, an applicant’s level of knowledge was assessed. Along with this interview trades testing took between 10 and 14 days at a testing center to determine an applicant’s suitability.
