The uniform green olive paint on the vehicle reveals it is Italian Campaign, so 1944-46. Tank names were used in Polish 2nd Corps 2nd Armoured Divisions as a secondary method of unit identification (in additon to the geometrical figure sign as primary method). There was a key to giving tank names , where the first letter was specific to the unit. Here the name is "Grożny" so the letter "G" reveals the tank belongs to the 4th Skorpion Armoured Regiment, HQ Squadron (4 Pułk Pancerny "Skorpion", Szwadron Dowodzenia). Interesting in this photo is the person on the right seems to be a female, possibly from 318 Transport Co-y (318 Kompania Transportowa) - but this is only of course my speculation. Anyway - hope this helps.

These are for sale at a local auction house. Supposedly genuine and expected to make big bucks but are they?

And a PAF eagle on Allegro which seems to have a very sinuous neck to the eagle.

Thanks Andrzej. If you look closely the 305 numerals seem to have spun round. You can see the marks on the body of the badge where they have scratched the badge. I believe that not all of these badges were numbered.
