This badge has a very interesting history, and is 100% genuine, it comes with the original patch he wore as a gunner. Similarly its a low issue number. If it wasn't for the fact I cant get there id love to research the history more. The guy is a bonifide hero totally tenacious in his attempts to be at the forefront in the fight against the Germans. It formed part of a very large historic grouping I have belonging to Squadron leader S Wolski. I have a gut feeling Halastra served as as Wolskis air crew which is maybe why he had it amongst his possessions. Its been verified by many leading specialists in this area. It comes with a life time guarantee of originality which I should have put in the description.
