The badge is 100% ok. And the reason for it is rather simple. All original badges were made in bronze and had a silver layer attached on top. If you closely on the part were the silver has worn off you will clearly see the bronze.

Agreed. This badge looks perfectly fine including an original equipment spinner.

    Hello!

I think you made a mistake. This badges were made in copper, not bronze and had a silver layer attached on top. It's information from an excellent book "Katalog pamiatek"T.Wanski.

When i look at the spinner i see that maker of this badge is the same as maker 2nd Corps badge, am i right? The maker is "Societa Italiana Per L'Arte Medagalia - Roma".

I am asking becouse i had never touching the same badge. Today we can see excellent copies so....

    Regards

Sorry, I mixed up the materials involved! So far I have never seen a copy of this badge made of two different materials. Lets hope it stays that way Luckily for us it is a bit too expensive to a apply a silver finish.

    Hello!

3DSK and Antoni thanks for replies!

Apply a silver finish is not too expensives in very rare badges. I saw copies of pre war badges finished with silver.

    Best Regards
