I Saw Poland Betrayed by Ambassador Arthur Bliss Lane is historically a very significant book. The author was the American Ambassador to Poland from 1944 to 1947. Ambassador Arthur Bliss Lane was so outraged at the betrayal of Poland that he gave up his position to return to the United States, and tell that American people what he had seen.

It is certainly worth a good read, and I can recommend it to anyone interested in the history of Poland.

Hi Wiśnia,

They're very valuable books I have three of them on my shelf. All of them have been out of print for decades and nobody seems to be eager to re-print them. Instead they print european leftists mumbo-jumbo that doesn't sell.
I search Allegro and on-line bookshops for secondhand out of print books on the Warsaw Uprising 1944 published in the 60', the 70' and the 80'. They sell real cheap, like 10 cents per book while P&H is a few bucks
