    Hello Everyone,

Another Recommendation this time for an Artillery Officer 2 Polish Corps.

    Lieutenant Dawid Kupferman

"During the whole Italian Campaign, under the most difficult road and communication conditions, especially during the Apennine Campaign October -December 1944.

Lieutenant Kupferman contributed a great deal by his efficient organisation of work, conscientious and personal devotion to the fact that there never was any lack of supplies in the Regiment.

Thus enabling it to fulfil successfully it's battle tasks, he put all his enthusiasm, experience, perseverance and energy into his work.

On many occasions not withstanding the danger, he visited the forward positions and addressed elements in order to learn their requirements and meet them.

He always contributed more than was required by the nature of his duties and was a great inspiration to the men under him".

    Hello Everyone,

Another Recommendation this time for an Officer of 3DSK

    Captain Leon Kowalczyk

"The success of the Battalion attack on 9th-10th April 1945 against the enemy's strongly defended positions along the River Senio at Felisio is, to a large degree due to Captain Kowalczyk. Who devoted himself entirely to the task of making the most detailed and precise preparations as regards the supply of stores fir this difficult operation.

In addition, in the second phase of this operation on 10th April 1945, after the crossing of the Senio and still under enemy fire, Captain Kowalczyk was one of the first up with the advance company's. Wishing to see them personally and to supply them with all their requirements, at the same time it may be added that Captain Kowalczyk showed similar energy and efficiency during the Battalion's defensive operations from 8th February to 22nd March 1945. In the area Falcona-Montalzo along the River Senio, during which time he neglected his own safety and went forward and watched the needs of his Battalion.

By his untiring work and sacrifice he contributed and continues to contribute, to the smooth working of the Battalion's ordnance supply system, both in action and out of it".
