British war brides in Poland

Hi guys,
I've been lately thinking on this little-known thread concerning British war brides who came to Poland in the late '40s. I guess these brides where rather in minority comparing to British girls who stayed with Polish husbands in the UK.
Hoping that maybe some of the forum members have heard some stories of these war brides and can provide any piece of information...
