I have a grouping of items belonging to an officer in the 2ND Corps.I am trying to establish more about which part he served in.I believe he was part of the Pay Unit based at rear HQ but would like to find out more. On what appears to be his award card for British service medals it mentions Rozk Kmdy ROPI and Komenda ROPI.I have tried to upload some images if it helps

    Hello Adrian,

26PP means the 26 Pułk Piechoty = 26th Infantry Regiment.

R.O.P.I is the acronym for Rejonu Osiedli Polskich w Italii = Polish Settlements in Italy
