Well,merry christmas and we just got done our family christmas eve gift opening that we do every year and my sister that goes to yard sales and thrift store\s she gave me this as she knows i started to collect/ find military items she gave me this as a laugh and i just thought i would post it and see if its anything new or old?thanks everyone and happy holidays

Hi Pammy,

This is a Polish eagle, but not a military pattern. It’s quite probably just a patriotic brooch. As a youngster I had one identical to this with a pinback fastening. I remember thinking it was quite ugly because of the disproportionally large head and strange bulbous wings.
