Text on the front of Cards :

One on the left : it is a part of a song written by poet Jan Kasprowicz in 1926, called "Hymn Mlodych " : " Youth Anthem ".

One on the right is : part of a song written by Kornel Ujejski, famous Polish poet, known as " Z dymem Pozarow " (with smoke of fires ) or " Choral". (Chorus). This was sung as national Anthem in Pre War Poland. A very patriotic song that was written after the Krakow's Uprising in 1846, and very popular during the 1863 January Uprising, and very popular until the War.
Also these Cards are drawn by Marian Walentynowicz, best known for his collaboration of " Koziolek Matolek " a children's epic book.
And Marian Walentynowicz's drawing an Eagle from a Book : "Ziemia Gromadzi Prochy " (The Earth creates Ashes )served as design for the Polish Paratrooper Badge.
I will translate the text later.
