Two Items of interest with invitations Piotrek -
The Oplatek invitation is from Colonel Jan O Kaminski - a close associate of Sosab, and played a prominent role during the battle of Mokra, September 1, 1939
He returned to Poland, and was one of the Paratrooper Memorial in Powazki Cemetery - the first public monument to soldiers who fought in the West behind the iron curtain.
The other invitation in 1974 shows a heavy religious influence, and is from Stefan Zajaczkowski - a former Brigade staff officer, and again heavily involved with the Powazki monument. I remember him as as very quiet, soft spoken and peaceful gentleman, who after “rehabilitation” was a paratrooper in the 6th Division.

1 SBS Vet
Mr. Wojciech G Grazul, who served with the Polish Parachute Brigade and was an Arnhem Veteran. Gerry died in 1995 and was a member of the Durham PRA branch until his death. Gerry has no relatives that they know of, so they have taken it upon themselves to get his headstone repaired..... Costs for this are estimated at £175.00, most of which will be raised from branch funds, although donations from interested parties would be most grateful. Should you wish to make a donation visit their website The Parachute Regiment Association | Durham Branch | Airborne | Parachute Regiment | Airborne.
